PBY-5A Catalina

Description:
The Catalina Flying Boat was one of the most famous and recognizable airplanes of the Second World War. It served with distinction in all theatres of the war as a submarine hunter and as a rescue aircraft for downed allied flyers. This model by Guillow's authentically captures the looks of the full scale PBY-5A in massive 1/28th scale to allow a highly detailed display model to be built. This kit is NOT intended to be flown with any kind of motor.

• The structure of the kit is all balsa and the fuselage formers and wing ribs are die cut.
• Many white and clear plastic vacuum formed parts to duplicate the engine cowlings and nacelles, nose, wing tip floats, prop hubs anti-submarine bombs, canopy, fuselage waist gun blisters and more.
• Option to build amphibious PBY5-A or seaplane PBY5
